The Code of Conduct for Aged Care (the Code) outlines the behaviour that all staff are expected to comply with, under the Aged Care Act. This course outlines the eight elements of the Code and the responsibilities of staff under the Code.

After completing this course, participants should be able to:

  • Describe the Code of Conduct for Aged Care
  • Understand your responsibilities under the Code of Conduct for Aged Care
  • Discuss the implications of not adhering to the Code of Conduct for Aged Care
This course is appropriate for all staff and volunteers working in aged care.
