General: This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a variety of Business Services job roles. These individuals may have frontline management accountabilities.
Individuals in these roles carry out moderately complex tasks in a specialist field of expertise that requires business operations skills. They may possess substantial experience in a range of settings, but seek to further develop their skills across a wide range of business functions.
Entry requirements: Prospective students are required to complete a Language Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment and a Pre-Training Interview, administered by and to the satisfaction of ITHEA and be at least 18 years of age. You must have good word processing and email skills as well as the ability to download and upload documents and information. Please see our Online Service Standards.
Vocational outcomes: Students can go into a range of employment or further study options. Occupations may include Executive Officer, Business Development Manager, Project Consultant, Compliance Manager (Local Government), Office Manager, Business Sales Team Leader, Administrator, Corporate Services Manager, Administration Manager (Local Government), Evaluation,Records Management Coordinator, Team Leader, Procurement Officer, Unit Leader, Project Coordinator,Administration Manager, Customer Service Manager, Procurement and Contract Manager, Records Manager or Environmental Compliance Officer (Local Government).

Delivery and assessment: We offer students the flexibility of choosing between online learning or classroom delivery. All students will be enrolled into our Learning Management System and all assessments must be completed online. As a result, all students will require a personal computer, with access to the Internet, to successfully complete their studies. Assessment methods allow for the gathering of sufficient quality evidence about the student’s performance. Methods used include question and answer, activities and projects.
